December 2, 2013
Q) I am currently on unemp. on my last”continued claim form” the first week for 1-17 / 11-23 was posted but the following week had XXX through it and the dates were wrong. I, of course can not get through to anyone on the phone. I need a corrected form mailed out to me. Can you send it out? thank you
A) I am not able to send out physical mail. You can try contacting your state’s unemployment office by phone or online to request a corrected form. You can also try contacting your local post office to see if they can help you. I would recommend that you visit your local unemployment office and speak with a counselor.

I applied for partial unemployment on March 22, 2020. I claimed my first weekly benefit on 03/29/20 since that was the first week that my hours were reduced in half due to the covid19 virus. I received a notice stating claimant of benefit determination letter on 03/30/20 which has the weekly benefit rate and maximum benefit amount. Than I received another letter for unemployment insurance directions. I followed the directions and filed a weekly claim on 04/04/20. Than i received a questionnaire in my email which I filed out but forgot to attached my letter from work stating that they were cutting my hours from 40 hr to 20 hr per week until further notice due to the covid 19 virus. I never heard anything back since the questionnaire and every time I claim my weekly benefits it say in an email that my claim is not payable at this time? I can not get in touch with anyone on the phone to fix this and I never received a denial letter to appeal not getting paid.As of this week my employer has furloughed me until further notice of the reopening of my office. Its now been 5 weeks since I applied and after next week I will no longer have any incoming and I don’t know how to resolve this. I have been working since I was 16 and never did I not have a job. I have never used unemployment. Please help.
