Your Experience: I found most staff to be unfriendly at best. It’s hard enough to go to the unemployment office in the first place, but to be made to feel like a number or like less than normal because you don’t have a job.  Seems like they would try to put people at ease and make them feel like help is on the way rather than that you are a tick, just there to suck blood.  I’m not exaggerating, that’s how it felt.  No one offered to really help.  No one offered any options for a skilled and educated worker.  Felt like the only option was a fast food job.  No one seemed to care about anything other than chatting with each other.  It was a terrible feeling and I went for several months.  Found a job on my own eventually.
