I’ve been on hold waiting for an EDD Specialist for 3:36 minutes because the general Representative can’t tell me why I’ve not been paid any benefit amount for over a month. Previously, I waited over 5 months to receive any payment. I’m thinking that I was just put on some sort of hold to get rid of me. I’m getting readyn to drive to an office.
Governor Newsom yesterday put pressure on the EDD to pay people as they are still under their ” Fraud Investigations.” That’s why we’re all waiting, and waiting for a pay day. It’s because EDD was careless last year and gave away billions of Californian Unemployment Benefits to Frauds, now unemployed people through no fault of their own have to suffer hard. Only 100,000 of us after today will be chosen to be paid.
