I have applied, called and called with no response. My employer who had to lay us off was sent a letter a few weeks ago to verify that I was laid off signed and returned the letter and still no response. I have nothing to pay my bills with or take care of my personal needs. I need to know why have I not received anything from ga dol. I worked hard all my life and now no one can tell me why or if I’m even eligible or not to receive unemployment. Please someone respond to this request for information. Thank you.
I was laid off on April 16 and STILL have not received my unemployment benefits. My co-worker who was laid off at the same time, and filed after me, has already received hers. I have gone to my local office in Palm Coast Fl and they have assured me nothing is wrong it is just taking a long time.
It is IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone on the phone. I did speak to someone once and she put a ticket in and said if I don’t hear back in a week to call again. It has been 3 weeks and now the phone system is having issues and it disconnects you immediately!! When you go on line it says you are number 951 in the cue. No exaggeration. I don’t know where to turn for help. I am a single mother and cannot afford this. And yes I am actively looking for work daily.
If I need to fix something I would be happy to do so, but everyone keeps assuring me there are no issues. This can’t be true..
PLEASE HELP OR LEAD ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT HERE AND I AM HAVING NO LUCK FINDING AN ACTUAL PERSON TO TALK TO.
