The EDD representatives at this location are NOT EDD Unemployment Insurance agents or specialists. The most the EDD reps can do is answer very basic and general questions about unemployment (like how do you get started filing out a UI claim). The Oceanside EDD reps cannot access any customer’s UI account to resolve problems such as payment issues, problems with providing identification, issues with customers accessing their unemployment online accounts, etc.. Customers can still call the North Coastal Career Center phone number to speak with an EDD rep at extension 1 (the EDD reps were previously at ext. 5, but now at ext. 1).
