I worked 3 years as a cleaner for NationalGuard Barracks, then Armory in St. Augustine,FL. I was fired due to downsizing in Jan. 2021. The Unemployment Office says I cannot get any benefits at all. This may be because National Guard used a private contractor for cleaning, then suddenly changed to a different one in January. Now I have no income at all. I used to get Disability benefits, but they were cut because I was working as a cleaner. Can National Guard change to a new cleaning contractor who then immediately downsizes, making me ineligible for Unemployment?
First of all you’re complaining on the wrong website because this is California. Why don’t you write a letter to the government in Michigan and complain to them. I think they might want to know. Even tell the IRS.
