Cheryl Kinderman: Currently unemployed, seeking compatible employment since 05/2020 without solution. WI DWD UCI has denied unemployment 3x since 05/2020. Initial denial after family member emergency care affected ability to work full-time, needed to work 2000 hours before unemployment would reinitiate; gained employment resulting in an emotionally abusive work environment, unemployment denied a 2nd time citing quit for reasons not within WI DWD UCI guidelines; needed to work 2000 hours before unemployment would reinitiate; gained employment resulting in no fault of my own… employer decided to take advantage of Employment at Will… still don’t know why employer made such a negative decision. Now, I find myself unemployed for a 3rd time, seeking compatible office employment without income for necessary transport to and from prospective employment. What to do???
I’m having a horrible experience with communicating with the GDOL. I’ve done everything I was asked to do and I still don’t have the benefits that I qualify for and need so seriously. The representative I’ve been in contact with seems to be intentionally trying to mislead me and not be forthcoming or helpful. I really don’t understand what’s going on here and I’m in search of the best way to escalate my concern.
