Hi I am a mom of 5. I have been waiting for my unemployment benefits and unable to understand what is going since they have stated they received all my documentation and still have not received benefits not even a week nor do I have a pay date on my account and it states I have pending issues. Now I understand that there has been many claims but what I don’t understand is how is it that people who just made a claim are getting paid. That I don’t understand at all. I have been patient and kind and more patient. I spoke to Karen a very nice lady from the PUA department who stated she would forward my information to her supervisor to process my funds which would take 2 to 3 days and my account hasn’t changed. I’ve spoken to my district Rep Kelly Burke who stated she would have someone contact me and that never happened. It’s been over 2 weeks since I’ve been able to speak to anyone else. The phones are always busy and the one time recently I was actually able to get on hold I waited over 2 hrs then got disconnected. Now it’s getting serious I’ve been applying for other unemployment and haven’t paid rent in 3 months and now I’m getting worried. I need some help; I can’t continue to live like this it’s making me sick. Please have someone contact me.
The last benefit check I received was on may 12th and I kept requesting my payment online since then, I have not received any more benefits. It shows 0 dollars on the account summary. I have been trying to contact unemployment but no one has reached out to me. I have bills to pay and I am not working cause I got laid off due to the coronavirus. This is stressful and unacceptable.
