My son has been without a job..

Q) My son has been without a job, since he was diagnosed with throat and lymph node cancer, in June
2020. I applied for him on my computer, on 10/19/2020. He has no computer and couldn’t get it to work on his phone. I have tried so hard to get his drivers license and social security card uploaded. Nothing works. I have tried calling every number available to get information. Nothing is available. For months I keep getting a automated call back, they are sorry they haven’t been able to call and answer my questions! This is crazy, people are starving and losing their homes, because this system has failed the people of Kentucky. I need information on where to fax the I’d information. It has been long enough, is anyone working for the Kentucky Unemployment Office.

A) I’m so sorry to hear about your son’s situation. It’s heartbreaking that he’s been diagnosed with cancer and is now struggling to get unemployment benefits.

I understand your frustration with the Kentucky Unemployment Office. The system is overwhelmed and it can be very difficult to get through to someone.

I’ve looked into the issue, and it seems that the best way to get your son’s ID information to the Kentucky Unemployment Office is to fax it to them.

The fax number is (502) 564-2387.

I know this is a lot of information, but I hope it helps. I wish you and your son the best of luck.
