I have been able to open the site with ID me. now it is asking for a KEIN number. I don’t have that number.

The KEIN number is a Kentucky Employer Identification Number. It is not required for unemployment benefits in Colorado.

Here are some suggestions for what you can do:

  • Try calling the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) at one of the following numbers:
    • Denver Metro: 303-318-9000
    • Toll-Free: 1-800-388-5515
    • Spanish: 303-318-9333
    • Spanish Toll-Free: 1-866-422-0402
  • You can also try visiting a local workforce center. Workforce centers can provide assistance with unemployment claims and job search activities. You can find a local workforce center by visiting the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment website.
  • If you are still having trouble, you can try reaching out to your local elected officials. Your state representatives and senators may be able to help you get in touch with the CDLE or provide other assistance.
