I have been trying to submit an application for unemployment since the end of December with no luck. On the website, it tells me that I have a file and asks me to login. I reset my password since I didn’t know what it was. Then it won’t accept it. I have also been calling and no one ever answers. Can someone please advise how I should proceed to get this submitted?

I was laid off 6/2023 and successfully files a claim. I had received 21 of the possible 26 weeks and then I started a new job 11/6/2023. I worked at the new job for 2 months when the clients funding was lost and the position was elimnated. I still have $4,150 remaining on the previous claim (5 weeks in NJ). I see on the internet that I can submit for a brand new 26 week claim for 2024 but I was wondering if I need to first complete receiving the remaining 5 weeks on the previous claim before i can open a new claim. OR do I just proceed to file a new claim even though the last one still shows a remaining balance. Please advise so I know how to proceed.
