What if I am being pushed out, I’m a Home Health Aide, I have asked for a new client on 4 counts now., First and foremost she would try to play with my chest when I would try and help with her feet,She said my niece looked like a monkey, nothing to even joke about.     My hospital is shutting down our surgery department for 2 weeks, could possibly be more. We will be off work that entire 2 weeks. When we asked if we could apply for unemployment we were told no because they aren’t laying us off, they are not working us because of low patient census. Can they do that?

    I’m wondering about what we can do with our jobs either closed for the Coronavirus or are closing or are going to minimal staffing? What are we as workers able to do?
