My employee is undergoing surgery shortly on both his feet and thus will not be able to work for me (it is a very labor intensive job). What are his options for the 4 months that he will not receive a paycheck? It seems worker’s comp is not an option (not an injury on the job) and disability is not an option (b/c it’s a short term injury) and unemployment is not an option (b/c he won’t be able to work anywhere).
Solutions??
I have 1 full time seasonal job and 1 part time job. I will be furloughed from my full time job in November 2015 until January 2016. I only work about 12 hours at my part time job. Will I be eligible to receive unemployment if I keep my part time job?
