I filed my claim for unemployment benefits, when I will get my payments?

Q) I filed my claim for unemployment benefits the last week. I received a letter advising me of the amount of my benefit’s of $365 a week. I also received a bank card. To date i have gone online every Sunday to claim my weekly benefits. I have also tried to input my weekly work search but it wont let me. Can you tell me when I will get my payments? I am desperate. My status still says my claim is still pending. When I leave massages (Gainesville office) no one returns my call.

A) I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your unemployment claim and that you have not yet received any payments. The process of receiving unemployment benefits can take several weeks and can vary depending on the state you live in and the specifics of your situation.

The best course of action would be to contact your state’s unemployment office for an update on the status of your claim and when you can expect to receive your benefits. It’s possible that there may be an issue with your claim that needs to be resolved before you can start receiving payments.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide a specific date for when you will receive your payments, but I recommend reaching out to your state’s unemployment office for the most accurate and up-to-date information. You can find your state’s unemployment office by searching online for “unemployment office” and your state’s name, or by checking the website of your state’s Department of Labor.
