If you have worked full time for 2 years you qualify for unemployment benefits. Working for two years should more than satisfy your state work hour requirements.
General Requirements for Unemployment Benefits
Be totally or partially unemployed.
Be unemployed through no fault of his/her own.
Be physically able to work.
Be available for work which means to be ready and willing to immediately accept work.
Be actively looking for work.
Meet eligibility requirements each week benefits are claimed.
Be approved for training before training benefits can be paid.
I had to quit my job one month ago that I loved, but
the Nurse practitioner that I worked with left and they hired a new Nurse Practitioner that ended up being a hostile work environment, so I had to quit. I did write a letter to Human Resource, which did nothing about it and my boss also new. Am I allowed to collect Unemployment?
