Can a person collect unemploymetn while collecting severance pay from previous employer or do you have to wait until the severance pay is completed?
I was laid off in December, made to work till Feb 10th, 2014. Got my final severance check 3/14/14. Filed unemployment on 3/16/14 and it was zero. Shouldn’t I have been paid for prior weeks since severance pay is not considered?
