For most states; If you wish to cancel your initial claim and not file for benefits, your cancellation request must be made in writing within 30 days after your claim is filed. The final date for the cancellation request is the same as the final date for appeal shown on your monetary determination.
Keep in mind that; You must report all wages earned for any work, including temporary, part-time, and self-employment, for the week they are earned (not when paid). If you receive benefits to which you are not entitled, you will be required by law to repay them along with any costs, fees, and interest associated with collection.
