I understand that you are experiencing frustration and concern with your unemployment claim. It sounds like you have taken all the necessary steps to file your claim and have verified your information with the counselor, but you have not received the monetary benefits that you are entitled to.
It’s important to keep in mind that unemployment offices are currently experiencing high volumes of claims due to the ongoing pandemic, which may contribute to delays in processing claims. However, it’s not clear if this is the reason for the delay in your case.
You mentioned that you believe that the counselor has made an error with your claim and that he is not willing to correct it. It’s important to follow up with the counselor and/or his supervisor to try to get an explanation for why you have not received your benefits. Make sure to keep detailed records of all your conversations with the counselor and his supervisor. Also, you can try to reach out to the unemployment office through their website or social media accounts if they have any.
You also mentioned that you plan to contact your local senator’s office for assistance. This is a good idea, as senators have staff who can help constituents navigate government agencies and can also help you to understand your rights.
Lastly, you mentioned that you have been verified with IDme company and have provided all the necessary identification, that’s great and it will help to speed up the process.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.
