My experience at Hollywood CA unemployment office – Georgette

Your Experience: I quit my job for a long list of reasons,was sent verification of payment by edd,but they did not give me my checks after I did everything.Tried to appeal,woman in office said I was late,but in fact I was on time,Saw no employer,would not let me in,was told Von’s market said I thought I was going to be fired for being late and that’s why I quit.Ive got so much on them,so do many others.

Been to this office twice.sent there because of my housing for proof of no unemployment insurance.Showed them paper clearly stated.Both times,a Fred B**** and John D***** or D*****(spelling he gave no proof,no card,didn’t want to even give a name.) I didn’t see his name on their site,only f brown and m gardner for contact 323-***-9**6

To continue….He fate out refused to give me a print out or write a note! He then said they weren’t an unemployment and then edd office? The women there were also equally rude and unhelpful. He would not get mr Brown,another very unhelpful and rude man.

I asked him for a list…”can you at least give me a listing of your edd offices, please”? He flat out refused!

Then he did something even far worse-he threatened me! He threatened to call the police and told me to leave?!

A very big guy over 200 lbs,grey suit and he had(I can’t believe it)a small pin of the American flag on his coat!?

I tell you it was not a very American or democratic experience!He treated me as though I was in another country…please tell me someone tell me the people of America don’t have to be treated this way? I was born here and lived here all my life.Tell me it all hasn’t com e to this?
